A classic turkey burger amped up with a hint of maple flavoring. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Burger
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 Tablespoon plain bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon steak sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
- 4 slices cheese (cheddar or colby jack work well)
- 4 hamburger buns
Optional Toppings
- Maple dijon mustard
- Bacon
- Sautéed onions
- Lettuce/Greens
Instructions
- Combine turkey through ground pepper in a large bowl and gently mix until combined.
- Divide into four equal parts and form into patties.
- Cook on the stove top in a greased skillet over medium heat for about 3-5 min per side, or until cooked through.
- Top with cheese for last minute of cooking to melt.
- Serve on hamburger buns with maple dijon mustard and any additional toppings.
For Maple Dijon Mustard
- 2 TBSP dijon mustard & 1 TBSP maple syrup. Mix together.
