Description

A classic turkey burger amped up with a hint of maple flavoring. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

Burger

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon steak sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 4 slices cheese (cheddar or colby jack work well)
  • 4 hamburger buns

Optional Toppings

  • Maple dijon mustard
  • Bacon
  • Sautéed onions
  • Lettuce/Greens

Instructions

  1. Combine turkey through ground pepper in a large bowl and gently mix until combined.
  2. Divide into four equal parts and form into patties.
  3. Cook on the stove top in a greased skillet over medium heat for about 3-5 min per side, or until cooked through.
  4. Top with cheese for last minute of cooking to melt.
  5. Serve on hamburger buns with maple dijon mustard and any additional toppings.

For Maple Dijon Mustard

  1. 2 TBSP dijon mustard & 1 TBSP maple syrup. Mix together.
