Hi, hello, and welcome to Bake or Bust!

I’m Courtney, and I’m so happy you stopped by my little creative corner of the internet! Here you’ll find my adventures in home baking and decorating. I love to share original recipes as well as favorites from family/friends, magazines, cookbooks, etc. I hope to inspire others on their own baking journeys, as well as impart some tips and wisdom I’ve picked up over the years.

My goal is to show you that you can absolutely make incredibly delicious and impressive baked goods at home and to get you out of your store-bought or boxed mix comfort zone.

I am a self taught home baker and lover of all things sweet. My passion for baking has grown exponentially since I was a child. I literally wish there were more hours in the day to bake All. The. Things! One of my first baking memories as a kid was when I was tasked with making the box mix brownies in our household. (A job that my Dad gladly delegated away 😉).

Since then I’ve enjoyed baking everything from cakes, cookies and pies to meringues, custards and the always challenging French macaron! Learning new recipes, techniques and photography skills fuels my passion and I literally can’t wait to nerd out on my next baking adventure! Who’s with me? 🤓
